The ISS Lube Boom is an innovative bulk lubrication system for P&H and Bucyrus/CAT electric rope shovels that has been adopted and is being looked at by many progressive mining operations.

The Lube Boom increases safety for the mine staff by eliminating climbing on the tracks and other potentially slippery surfaces to perform bulk lubrication activities.
It also eliminates having mechanics carrying heavy lubricant hose loads over the tracks. Hydraulic power to the Lube Boom is supplied by a self-contained electro-hydraulic power unit. The Lube Boom standard power unit is 120 VAC. The 12-24 VDC and 120-240 VAC units are available on customer request.
Available for all P&H electric rope shovels including P&H 2800 and P&H 4100 and all Bucyrus electric rope shovels including CAT 7495 or Bucyrus 495HR.
